About

This is what I am

I am a single mother to two little girls Vivi & Sam.

I am a Public Interest & Family lawyer.

This is my Journey

I have had a strong love for learning and for writing from a young age. I was raised in Botswana and moved to Australia at the age of 16.

Coming to Australia has exposed me to life in a way i never would have imagined. The multiculturalism of Australia meant i an see and be involved in other cultures, i can compare and i can see reality from fiction. Going back to Botswana i see things differently, whilst i don’t judge but i see what a  narrow view of the world we sometimes have.

In a time where as young person social media and television come before anything else, finding the line between reality and entertainment is getting harder and harder. Over the last few years i have realised just how much my life has taken a different course, i used to fight it, i wanted to be ‘normal’ to be like every one else. Im hoping that through this blog i can learn to embrace the road less travelled and in the process help other young people who find themselves in that position.

This Blog has tranformed incredibly from just discerning reality from fiction, i have gone through a journey of finding my roots, my God and overcoming addictions, bad habits.

“You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.” ‭
